How do I change the app's language?
Open Profile, then Language under Preferences, and pick one. The menus switch at once. Roadmaps you already have keep their language, apart from our own catalog roadmaps, which are translated for you.
How do I switch between centimeters and inches?
Open Profile, then Measurements under Preferences. Until you choose, Hobbing uses your country's units (inches in the US) or your device's region. Measurements in every roadmap are shown in the units you pick.
Can I change the answers I gave when I signed up?
Yes. Every welcome answer (your crafts, the time you have per sitting, your experience, your goal, the daily nudge) is a row in Profile under "Your answers" or Preferences, and tapping one lets you change it. "Go through the questions again" runs the whole welcome flow with your current answers filled in.
How do I change my profile photo?
Open Profile and tap your photo, then pick a picture. Hobbing finds your face and centers the circle on it; drag to move it, pinch or use the slider to zoom, then tap "Use photo".
How do invites work?
Open Profile, then Invite friends, and send your link. When a friend signs up through it and makes their first roadmap from a link, you get 3 more roadmaps from links on top of your free 5, for up to 5 friends. It is a one-time bonus per friend, and they keep their own account.
The app asks me to update. Do I have to?
Most of Hobbing updates itself without a trip to the store. When a new version of the app itself is out, Hobbing offers it: tap Update to open the App Store or Google Play, or "Not now" to be asked again in a few days. Very rarely an old version stops working properly, and then the update is required to carry on.
How do I sign out?
Open Profile and tap "Sign out" at the bottom, under Account. Your roadmaps and progress stay on your account for the next time you sign in.
