Who is Daisy?
Daisy is Hobbing's AI craft tutor. She is an AI, not a person, and she is built for one job: getting you through the step you are on. She explains techniques in plain words, with no craft jargon, and she knows the roadmap and the step you are looking at.
How do I ask Daisy about the step I am on?
Open the step and tap "Want a hand?", or "Stuck here?" on a page of the making. Daisy already knows the step, the part you are on, and which supplies you said you have, so you can just ask "what does this bit mean?". On a step with pictures she can show you the one she means.
The Daisy tab is for everything else: questions about a craft, or help choosing what to make next.
Can Daisy choose a roadmap for me?
Yes. Tap "Not sure where to start? Ask Daisy" on the Roadmaps tab, or ask her on the Daisy tab. She reads the answers you gave when you signed up, asks only what is still missing, and suggests one to three roadmaps as cards you can tap to open.
When no roadmap fits what you want to make, she can point you at a post on the Home feed instead: tap "Make a roadmap" on its card and it becomes a roadmap of your own. She can also show the "Make one from a link" card, for a post or video you found yourself, and if you paste a link into the chat the card holds it ready. Either way it counts toward your roadmaps from links, like any other.
Can Daisy look at my work?
Yes, at check-in steps. See https://www.hobbing.ai/help/roadmaps-and-steps#check-ins.
Does Daisy speak my language?
Yes, she answers in the language you picked in Profile, which can be any of the 8 Hobbing comes in.
Why did Daisy ask me to take a break?
There is a limit to how many messages Daisy answers in an hour, to keep her quick for everyone. Come back a little later and she picks up where you left off. She also politely declines messages that try to make her do something other than help you craft.
Can Daisy contact support for me?
When you tell her about something she cannot fix (the app misbehaving, billing, signing in, a step that is broken) or an idea for the app, Daisy can draft a support case for you. You see exactly what it says, can change it, and nothing is sent until you tap Send.
Still need help?
In the app, open Profile and tap Help & support to open a case, and someone on the Hobbing team writes back in the same thread. Or email support@hobbing.ai.
Stuck on a step? Daisy, the tutor in the app, knows which step you are on. Open it in the app and tap "Want a hand?".
